Canterbury School At Canterbury School, we're artists, athletes, and scholars who have strong connections to each other and our community. School colors: Blue and White.

The best way to get to know Canterbury School is to visit. Primary emphasis is on the classroom: a great teacher, a challenging curriculum, a vibrant sense of curiosity and creativity at work. Small classes are designed to motivate, to engage and to support students of all ages. Learning is both active and interactive, teaching both traditional and innovative. Canterbury provides essential preparation for college, and for the life of the mind beyond school. Yet learning also occurs beyond the classroom, and Canterbury students are very busy people. They are athletes and actors and artists; they are taught to be leaders in their communities as well as servants; they learn to be responsible, to be respectful and to be caring. This is a community that works and works together. School mascot: Cavaliers

In honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day, Rachel and Jacob Herrera led our Lower School Chapel this morning. Rachel, our Clubhouse Lead Teacher, is a member of the Osage and Muscogee Nations, and Jacob, our JK Teaching Assistant, is part of the Comanche Nation.

Together, they shared their cultures, traditions, and histories with our students. Thank you, Ms. Herrera and Mr. Herrera, for sharing with us and helping our community learn and grow!
