Pre-vet student, Breonna, had a great experience at Troy's Horseshoe Clinic. She learned about the process of trimming the hooves and also dissected a horse leg. Since the horse shoeing process requires nails, one needs to be knowledgeable of the lower limb anatomy especially the exact location of bones, ligaments, and nerves.

Over the weekend, several students and Dr. Obringer travelled to IU-Bloomington to participate in the "Service of Gratitude" program which gave us the opportunity to thank the families of recent anatomical donors. We were able to let the families know how important anatomical donation is to our education and how this final act of service to others will not be forgotten. Ella , Sonya, and Grant distributed flowers to the family. Katie provided the piano accompaniment for the program.

Huge congratulations to Kellyn for making history in the University of Saint Francis science program with a school record MCAT score of 526. This places her in the 100th percentile! As a junior pre-med biology major, Kellyn continues to set the standard for excellence, dedication, and hard work. We are incredibly proud of all she has accomplished and cannot wait to see her become an amazing physician one day. The future is bright!
