Fort Wayne TKD

1994. Earned my 1st Degree Black Belt in Mudokwan Taekwondo. As part of my 1st Degree test I did a two knuckle punch through a concrete slab with my right hand. My teacher, Grandmaster Oh, refused to teach me how to do this due to another student injuring himself. That IMMENSELY frustrated me. I studied and trained very hard in secret and taught myself how to do this. My teacher was very upset the day of the test as I pulled the hidden concrete out of a corner in front of an audience. He got a surprise. I put him on the spot. I was successful but, I was scolded for several months after. Hilarious looking back. 😆 A few months later, at the request of a friend’s workplace celebration, I was asked to put on a demonstration. I decided to try my weak left hand. Proper science and conditioning makes such things possible. I weighed less than 170 lbs. Over 30 years later I have no arthritis in my hands. What are bigger, stronger, more capable human beings able to do?

Here he is fighting a very fearless and tough opponent at the Ahn Classic Taekwondo Tournament in Mason, Ohio April 25th 2026. Marcus put on a fine display of fighting skill for all to see.
