Literacy changes lives. Our mission is to empower people and strengthen community through education. Illiteracy is more than a personal struggle.

The Literacy Alliance strives to positively impact the lives of our students and, in turn, our community. Its effects can be felt throughout our entire community. The problems of illiteracy reach everyone. Low employment, increased crime rates, and low student test scores are just some of the issues illiteracy brings. However, there are solutions. At The Literacy Alliance, we’re working every day

🇺🇸 As America marks its 250th birthday, we're reminded that literacy is what lets every person read those founding words, understand their rights, and claim a full voice in the story still being written.

In celebration of the occasion, The Literacy Alliance will be closed on Friday, July 3.
Have a safe and happy holiday weekend! 🇺🇸
