Happy National School Principal’s Day! 🎉

Today, we’re proud to celebrate our incredible principal, Mrs. Evans! To show just how much she means to us, our staff has filled the school with photos of her, turning the hallways into a fun and memorable scavenger hunt for students.

Mrs. Evans brings positivity, leadership, and heart to our building each and every day. We are so grateful for all she does to support our students, staff, and families.

Bloomingdale is a better place because of her! ❤️

Big night at the rink! 🏒 A huge group of our Bloomingdale staff and families are out cheering on the Fort Wayne Komets tonight. The highlight of the game? Seeing our very own Ms. Baughman featured on the big screen! 🤩

This afternoon, we gathered for a special Family Meeting to celebrate our Riley Children’s Hospital fundraiser! 🎉

During the celebration, our grade-level champions faced off in some friendly (and competitive!) games of Connect 4. The excitement built as our grade-level winner went head-to-head with our staff champion—leading to our overall school champion… Mr. Dunton! 🏆

We wrapped up the fun with a fan-favorite moment: four staff members were pied in the face by students who contributed to our fundraiser. There were lots of cheers, big smiles, and even bigger laughs! (Check out the comments for some videos!)

Thank you to everyone who helped make this fundraiser such a success. We are so proud of our students and their generosity. ❤️

We hope all of our students have a relaxing and enjoyable Spring Break. We will miss you!

🎉 This morning our 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders gathered in the gym for a fun celebration! Our students hard work on IREAD and on ILEARN 2 Checkpoint paid off by them getting a piece of tape to help with our challenge: taping Mr. Basinger or Mrs. Evans to the gym wall!

While our tape didn’t quite hold either adult up, the gym was filled with laughter, excitement, and lots of celebrating. We are so proud of our students for their hard work and achievements! 👏📚

This morning, we celebrated our 3rd, 4th and 5th grade Honor Roll Chiefs with a special breakfast. It was wonderful to see so many parents join us in recognizing their student’s success!

Mrs.Jones 3rd grade class enjoyed making crafts at Saint Anne’s retirement community. Once again exemplifying their dedication to their community.

Bloomingdale's fourth and fifth graders are living up to their school's pledge this holiday season. A line in the Bloomingdale Pledge reads, "I know I matter in my community," and these kids are making a positive difference as we approach Winter Break.
A successful fall book fair left Bloomingdale with resources to purchase eighty new books, leveled pre-K through six, for a local community shelter. The fourth and fifth graders worked with Case Manager Karin Klinedinst and Media Clerk Jeff King to select Vincent Village, a local not-for-profit serving families battling homelessness, to receive the books along with a "We Wish You Well" message and a holiday treat.
Bloomingdale's fifth graders continued their helpful efforts by helping kindergarteners with their holiday crafts.
