We just wrapped up a semester of reading Jason Reynolds in our ELA classes. From heavy classroom discussions to honest reflections, our students really engaged with these stories.

We’re incredibly proud of the insight, empathy, and perspective they brought to the table every single day.

We are incredibly excited to highlight the amazing talents of one of our very own: 7th grader Leonna!

When we asked Leonna if she would be interested in painting a mural inside the school, she didn’t just say yes; she completely blew us away by doing the entire project freehand. Her incredible vision and creativity have truly transformed our space.

But her artwork didn’t stop indoors! Leonna also lent her talents to our newly redesigned Little Free Library out in front of the school, giving it a beautiful, fresh look.

📚 A huge thank you also goes out to the Allen County Public Library for their generous donations! Thanks to them, our newly painted library will stay fully stocked and ready for our community to enjoy.

Our crew spent the day at the Allen County Public Library diving into the Dinosaurs Fossils Exposed exhibit and getting hands-on in the Studio Maker Lab. Hands-on learning at its best!
