What a wonderful Back-to-School Night at Westminster Early Years Academy!

Each of our classrooms chose a different PTQ topic to showcase, including Fine Motor, Gross Motor, Literacy, Sensory, and more. Families had the opportunity to learn about these important areas of development, how we incorporate them into our daily activities, and how these skills support children as they learn and grow.

We also shared how we track each child’s developmental progress throughout the year. Our teachers intentionally observe, document, and monitor developmental milestones to ensure we are meeting each child’s individual needs. We also had the opportunity to share more about our partnerships with the three occupational therapists and speech therapist who are on-site weekly, allowing us to provide additional support and resources for our children and families.

Families also received handouts with more information about our curriculum, resources, and ways to stay connected throughout the school year.

Of course, we had plenty of fun too! Families enjoyed snow cones and cookies, had the opportunity to enter raffle drawings for some fun prizes, and participated in our jelly bean guessing game!

Thank you to all of our families who came out and spent the evening with us. We loved connecting with you, sharing what happens inside our classrooms, and giving you a glimpse into all the learning, development, and fun happening every day at EYA.

We are so excited for another amazing school year and everything the 2026-2027 school year has in store!

We are beyond excited to celebrate our very own Mr. Zack!

Mr. Zack was nominated for Employee of the Year for our site and was selected as Employee of the Year across all Westminster sites! This is an incredible accomplishment and we couldn't be more proud.

Mr. Zack has been such a blessing to Early Years Academy throughout the past year. He first joined us as a practicum student from Purdue and quickly became an invaluable part of our team.

His dedication is truly inspiring. He has balanced multiple jobs, even commuted from Ohio, opened our center through winter storms, and continued working toward his degree in Early Childhood Education all while showing up each day with a warm loving heart for the children.

The relationships Mr. Zack has built with our staff, families, and children are so special. He leads with kindness and genuine care, and the impact he has made on our school community is immeasurable.

Congratulations, Mr. Zack! This recognition is so well deserved, and we are incredibly grateful to have you as part of the Early Years Academy family. We love our Mr. Zack!

Last week of school fun! ☀️

Bittersweet moments as we celebrate the birthdays of some of our sweet babies. 🎂💛 Watching them grow, learn, and reach so many milestones has been such a joy. We are so thankful to have been part of their journey and can't wait to see all they accomplish next.

Ending the week and kicking off our 4th of July weekend with some fun at Brewer Park's splash pad! ☀️ The kids had an absolute blast cooling off, and we are so thankful for the blessing of having such a wonderful park right next door. Days like these make summer memories so special. Wishing everyone a safe and happy 4th of July weekend! ❤️🇺🇸

Today, we turned our outdoor time into an exciting obstacle course challenge due to the summer heat! From jumping and balancing to crawling and racing, our friends stayed active, worked on gross motor skills, and had so much fun cheering each other on!

Our students loved sharing breakfast, completing a special activity, and making memories with the important people in their lives. Thank you to all who joined us today, we loved celebrating with you!
