We are so grateful for the support of the Don Wood Foundation! Through their generosity, 128 Wild Roots Summer Campers had materials and opportunities to explore the natural world! When folks think of STEM, they often think of engineering and advanced technology, but our natural world gives us plenty of opportunities to engage with STEM! This summer, our campers studied biology, ecology, zoology, botany, entomology, hydrology, physics, and meteorology while having FUN and building community! Planting these seeds helps grow tomorrow's renewable energy, clean water, sustainable agriculture, and climatology researchers and engineers!
