Memorial Park Fine Arts Program and PTSA

On Saturday the 16th, the Memorial Park Middle School Music Department will present the finale of its 2025-26 concert season, "Spring Pops!" This event with a "festival atmosphere" features every performing group (non jazz) in the department, fabulous local food trucks, and of course entertaining pop music from our talented students!

Food service begins at 1:30, and the performance will start at 2:00. There is no admission charge for this performance. Parking is available at the school, Summit Church, and Memorial Park. Audiences are encouraged to come and go as they please, and to explore the multi-venue setup while enjoying delicious food. We hope to see you there!

Our Senior Class Reunion for graduating Memorial Park Middle School alumni will be Monday, May 18 from 3:15-4:15 PM. Stop on out and reconnect with your classmates and visit with former teachers!

This Friday, the Memorial Park Jazz Ensembles will present their annual "Jazz on the Boulevard" concert! Downbeat at 7:00pm in the MPMS gymnasium! Jazz students should report to the band room at 6:09.

Please use the MPMS Events Entrance (Door 5). Doors will open at 6:15, and admission is FREE.

There will be drinks, desserts, and Old Crown Coffee to purchase and enjoy with your evening of jazz. We hope to see you there!

We are EXCITED to welcome FUTURE Pirates TONIGHT during our Incoming 6th Grade Student Open House from 5:00-6:30 PM!

Students will have opportunities to meet and greet with teachers, learn about course and extracurricular options, try different instruments, and tour the building! Plan to turn in your course selection sheet if you have not done so already. Additional copies will be available if needed.

Our PTSA will be on site selling Pirate T-Shirts for $12. Cash and card accepted! Also, we invite you to visit our Spring Book Fair and support our library with a purchase!

Families should enter through Door 5. Additional parking is available in the Summit Church parking lot across Warren Street.

Our very own "Hot Mess" Mariachi Memorial will be performing at the Tincaps game for their "Manzanas Luchadoras" series game on May 5th, Cinco de Mayo as part of their Hispanic Heritage series. Students will perform pregame at the centerfield amphitheater.
