Our first grade had some pretty exciting visits with Dawn Avery from Dr. Dellinger's orthodontic office and Dr. Brennan from Parkview Physician's Group. These first graders have been learning about the human body in CKLA so they had community members share their knowledge with our students! The kids learned some new information, reviewed some things that they had learned, and had a great time!

Let's take a moment to brag on Yesseniia for her caring heart! This year, Yesseniia is a second grader in Mrs. Amin's room. We are lucky to have a St. Joe Tiger that shows compassion, character, and citizenship. Let's hope more students follow her lead in caring about others!

KIDS WHO CARE: This week, we are spotlighting 7-year-old Yesseniia, who runs races across Indiana to honor those who have lost their lives.
