We are proud of Mr. McCoy who was a teacher at Arlington before joining the FWFD!

Jonathan McCoy #1040 brings years of leadership, service, and community connection to . A Fort Wayne native and graduate of South Side High School, Jonathan earned his Kinesiology degree from Michigan State University before spending more than 12 years as a teacher.
Looking for a new challenge and another way to serve the community, Jonathan made the transition to FWFD with the same mindset he carried in the classroom: work hard, stay positive, and lead by example. During the academy, some of his favorite moments were running the tower and getting behind the wheel of the engine.
Outside the firehouse, Jonathan enjoys golfing, working out, reading, coaching his kids, and spending time with his wife Amanda and their children, Stella and Jack. You’ll also find him enjoying Fort Wayne’s growing food scene or spending summer days at Poco Pool with family.
A fan of Michigan State Spartans basketball and football, Jonathan also enjoys shows like The Sopranos, The Wire, and Curb Your Enthusiasm. His top bucket list goal is taking a European vacation to Italy and Turkey.

HELP NEEDED! We cannot do this Carnival without our volunteers. Please sign up on Parent Square or message us/comment below. Shifts are 1 hour so families can still enjoy time together. You can choose the game to help with. Middle school and high school students welcome to help! Friends and family are also welcome to help! We need help with:

●Cake Walk
●Games: candy wheel, football toss, plinko, basketball, pop toss, sucker tree, corn hole/turtle toss, ski ball, surprise wall, fish bowl toss,
