9th Annual Busse-Fabini Cougar Classic to support USF Student Athletes in their continued drive towards excellence! Welcome to the University of St.
Francis Busse-Fabini Cougar Classic Page!! This year will be the 3rd Annual Busse-Fabini Cougar Classic. As you may have seen in the media the University of St. Francis Women’s Basketball team won their 1st NAIA National Championship title and 1st UNDEFEATED season at 38-0. This is a special time for the Busse-Fabini Cougar Classic as one of our students who would of not graduated this coming May
received support from so many and their generosity. Skylarr Shurn was the a recipient of funding from the Busse-Fabini Cougar Classic. Without your support Skylarr would not be on track to graduate from the University. In addition to being able accomplish her dream of finishing college, she was able to help lead the Lady Cougars to a 38-0 record, an NAIA Division II title and claimed the MVP of the tournament. The next day, Skylarr was recognized as the NAIA National Player of the Year. The generosity of so many in the Fort Wayne community has help Skylarr and other aspiring students graduate from the University. This year’s classic will be held August 1st at Bridgewater Golf Course. There will be a VIP party the night before at the home of Jason Fabini. We invite you to join us for the 3rd annual Busse-Fabini Cougar classic. In two short years we have raised well over $125,000!!
