Emmanuel - St. Michael Lutheran School

Dear Friend of ESM,

On behalf of the students, families, and staff at ESM, we invite you to partner with us in supporting our Athletic Booster Program. Our athletics program plays an important role in helping students grow not only in physical ability, but also in character, teamwork, discipline, and Christian sportsmanship.

Through participation in sports, our students learn valuable life lessons while representing our school and our faith in the community. The Athletic Booster Program works to support these opportunities by helping provide equipment, uniforms, facility improvements, tournament and travel costs that allow our student-athletes to compete and grow.

We are seeking local businesses who would be willing to sponsor our programs. Sponsorships directly benefit our students and help ensure that every child has the opportunity to participate and develop their God-given talents. As athletic expenses have increased, especially with new league fees and the blessing of having more students eligible to participate, your support makes a huge difference so our student athletic fees stay reasonable, we can support families needing additional aid, and we can keep encouraging youth in athletics!

We are asking for an annual $300 donation from businesses. Sponsors will have a logo placed on a banner that would hang in each campus gym for the calendar year, visible to all visitors not just during the athletics seasons but also during all church events hosted in those spaces, too. Most importantly, your support demonstrates a shared commitment to investing in young people and strengthening our community.

Come join other preschool families for some fellowship, play, popsicles and fun! We have two dates planned for the summer. You can attend one or both events. Come and enjoy the entire time or stay for a short bit - whichever fits into your schedule. Siblings are welcome to join in the fun.

Our groundbreaking will take place right after the 10:00am worship service, followed by lunch and
fellowship. St. Michael will be providing Andy’s Chicken, and we ask that you bring a dessert to
share! Join us in celebrating this significant event in the life and ministry of St. Michael and ESM.

ESM Preschool is Hiring for the 2026-2027 School Year

Emmanuel-St. Michael Lutheran School is searching for qualified candidates to fill part-time teacher aid positions in both preschool and kindergarten for the 2026-2027 school year.

Preschool and Kindergarten Teacher Aide – A degree or certification in education and/or experience working with young children is preferred. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age, a high school graduate, and an active member of their home church.

Mr. Dan, a staple at the Getz Road Campus and St. Michael since 2017 as a buildings and groundskeeper, had a big day yesterday! Faculty, staff, students, and his family surprised and celebrated him BIG!! The cheering and singing was a time of wishing him birthday and retirement blessings. Mr. Dan, your “Good morning to you” song and fist bumps, high fives, and genuine care for everyone will be missed!

This weekend in worship, the ESM family celebrated Mrs. Jewell LaBrash on the occasion of her retirement. Mrs. LaBrash shared, "After teaching at ESM for 26 years I am leaving with a heart full of memories. I am grateful to my former Principal Chuck Daenzer and the School Board for hiring me and having the confidence in me to teach a split class my first years of teaching doing first and second grade. I have loved every minute of my call to ESM. I owe so much of my growth as an educator to my students; they have taught me just as much as I have taught them. I love every one of you!" This summer she is looking forward to a family vacation of hiking, swimming, playing games and just hanging out. Well done, good and faithful servant!
