Today, our students and staff celebrated in style with a fun Vaquero & Charro Day, sponsored by our Student Council. 🤠🌺
We loved seeing everyone participate and bring so much joy, color, and school spirit to the day as we celebrated Hispanic culture and heritage together.

A big thank you to our office staff, Mrs. Wattley, and our Student Council for helping organize such a fun celebration for our school community! 💚💙

At Saint Joseph Catholic School, we know that being present matters. Regular attendance supports academic achievement, social-skill development, strong routines, and long-term success. When students are in school consistently, they have more opportunities to learn, build relationships, participate in class, and feel connected to their school community.

📚 Missing just two days of school each month can add up to about 10% of the school year, which is considered chronic absenteeism.

We also understand that illnesses and unexpected situations happen. Our goal is to support families and work together when attendance becomes difficult.

📞 If your child will be absent, please report the absence by 8:00 AM:
Main Office: 260-432-4000

🌿🏆 Congratulations to ALL of our Grow It! Plant Show participants! 🏆🌿

We are so proud of every Saint Joseph student who participated in this year’s Grow It! Plant Show. Our students worked hard caring for their plants, and their effort showed beautifully today!

For each plant type, students earned 1st-, 2nd-, and 3rd-place awards, and we are especially excited to celebrate our five 1st-place winners, who now qualify to advance to the citywide competition!

Whether a student placed first, second, third, or simply participated, we are proud of the responsibility, patience, and care they demonstrated throughout this project. Every plant represented time, effort, and learning.

A special thank you to our HASA parent volunteers who helped this morning and supported our students throughout the event. Your time and assistance helped make the day a success! 💚

Congratulations again to all of our participants and award winners.

Today, our K-8 students, teachers, and staff gathered together for our first Holy Mass of the new school year; a beautiful way to begin by placing everything in God’s hands. As a school community, we prayed for a blessed, joyful, and fruitful 2026–2027 school year, asking the Lord to guide our students as they learn, grow in faith, and continue learning to lead and serve as saints.

We also offered special prayers for our brothers and sisters in Colombia and Ecuador who have been affected by the recent earthquake, asking God to bring comfort to those who are suffering, strength to the families and communities impacted, and protection to all those helping in the days ahead.

May this new school year always keep Christ at the center of all we do.

Saint Joseph, pray for us. 🙏

We are currently seeking volunteer coaches and helpers for:
🏐 Volleyball
🏃 Cross-Country
🏀 Basketball
⚽ Soccer

You do not have to be a professional coach to make a difference. We are looking for positive role models who can encourage teamwork, build confidence, teach good sportsmanship, and help our student-athletes grow both on and off the field.

Your leadership can make a lasting impact on a child’s life while strengthening our Saint Joseph school community.
