At Saint Joseph Catholic School, we are committed to helping every child grow in confidence as a reader. 💙💚
Our K–3 Literacy Coach supports teachers with reading instruction, small-group strategies, and classroom interventions to strengthen early literacy skills. We also provide additional support for our 2nd and 3rd-grade students as they prepare for the IREAD state assessment, including small groups, targeted practice, and extra encouragement.
We are proud of our students’ hard work and grateful for the teachers and staff who help them grow one page, one word, and one skill at a time! 📚✨🙏

Teacher Appreciation Week Spotlight 💙💚
Today we are grateful to recognize four amazing members of our Saint Joseph Catholic School team whose work supports our students, teachers, and families in so many important ways.
Mrs. Javins, our Gym Teacher, brings energy, joy, and creativity to physical education. Through fun and educational games, she helps students build coordination, teamwork, confidence, and a love for movement.
Mrs. Till, our K–3 Literacy Coach, supports our primary teachers and students by helping strengthen early literacy skills. Her work helps build strong reading foundations and encourages our youngest learners to grow in confidence and develop a love for reading.
Mrs. Salazar, our Resource Coordinator and Behavior Specialist, is always on the move supporting students, teachers, and staff. She helps with behavior needs, classroom support, special education cases, student interventions, and family communication so students can receive the support they need to succeed.
Ms. Wattley is a dedicated support staff member who helps our school run smoothly each day. She supports student behavior, assists with cafeteria duties, helps lead the We Care Committee, and guides the Student Council. Her steady presence and willingness to serve are a blessing to our school community.
Thank you, Mrs. Javins, Mrs. Till, Mrs. Salazar, and Ms. Wattley, for the many ways you help our students grow in mind, body, heart, and faith. We are blessed to have you at Saint Joseph Catholic School! 🙏✨
