"My degree means more than just an academic achievement; it represents growth, resilience, and purpose. It reflects the challenge I've overcome, the long hours of studying and clinicals, and the moments that pushed me to become stronger and more confident in myself. As a Mexican American, this degree also holds a deeper meaning, as I am contributing to the small but growing percentage of Hispanics in healthcare."

Lis Navarro will graduate next week with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She will begin working at Parkview Health as a pediatric nurse. Outside of the classroom, Lis served as president of the Student Nursing Association.

Congratulations! We know you will make a difference in our community! 🎓💉
