Levan Scott Academy, home of the Cadets. #1 School in the Nation! Levan R. Scott Academy opened in 1955 as Southern Heights Elementary School.
The school’s original name came from the neighborhood where the school was located. In 2000, the school was renamed for Dr. Levan R. Scott, who served Fort Wayne Community Schools for 28 years, retiring in 1986 as assistant superintendent in charge of administrative services. In 1965, Dr. Scott was named the city’s first African-American principal as he took the lead job at McCulloch Elementary Sc

At the community dinner at Bridge of Grace last night-Students from LSA lead their sibling in a counting lesson to 100. For their hard work they were awarded a Dollar.
