North Side Cross Country

North Side High School Cross Country would like to thank Coach Schmitz Andrew Schmitz for his dedication and hard work to the program. He started coaching at North Side in 2011. This season he transferred to Northrop High School and will be coaching the Bruins in Boys Cross Country.

North Side Cross Country is proud to introduce Coach Emma Mirwaldt as the new boys Cross Country head coach. Coach Mirwaldt is a Northrop high school alumni with college experience running in the NCAA and NAIA. She has previous experience coaching track in the community with Fort Wayne Express and the North Side girls track and field program.

Great job Owen, Mason, and Garret! They won the Huff 50K Relay this morning around Chain-O-Lakes!

GREAT DAY! Owen Stewart 3rd Qualifier for Regionals! Triston Staton missed the last qualifying spot by only 0.1 seconds Shipley missed it by 9 seconds.

Overall this team had the most improvement of all the rest of the field. Garrett HS beat us by only 2 pts and they’ve been wooping us all year. We’re definitely mudders! For being the youngest team out there we sure ran like veterans today!

Great day at SAC‼️ Junior Owen Stewart takes All-SAC honors with 13th place and we nearly had 2 more All-SAC runs from underclassmen!

Senior Casey Craig killed a 6th place all SAC for the Lady Legends💥‼️

To top that off, Freshmen Edi Dzananavic and Carlos Villegas end their race season with HUGE PRs. Both dropped 10 minutes or more from race 1 to 8‼️

This team is going places - keep an 👁 out! -Push for minutes over seconds.

Great meet this weekend! We managed to place well without two of our top five‼️ They’ll be here this Saturday! We also got Garret Jauregui sub 18💥‼️ That’s two with two more less than 10 seconds away!

NS placed 6 guys in the top 10! Junior Owen Stewart wins 🥇overall in 18:20. Junior Xavier Shipley brought in the 🥉medal for the Legends!

The Girl’s team, led by overall winner 🥇 Senior Casey Craig, took 🥈 place as a team.
