It’s like the projects always follow me home lol. Ending up picking up a Case 442 and my #4 John Deere 212 to bring in the shop to get some work done Luckily they run but just need some love. Been getting some carb and linkage work done on the 76 212 that was hooked up backwards.

To many that have been following the Fixin it with Matt Gray All Day channel. Just to let you know i did not forget about you. Just needed to take a short but quite long break to pray, think, and brainstorm ideas to make this channel better and one was to actually to make more videos like the first video in a shop even if it was in front of the overhead door as the shop was cluttered and unorganized plus no space to work. Since November ive been working quite a bit to turn the front part of the barn into the fixin it shop where projects will happen and the magic happens. Installing paneling on the ceiling, covering the insulation on the wall to get it a finished feel. It still gots a way to go but should be finished by the end of 2025. 2026 is going to have some new content so keep your look out.

The old 1970 case 117 is alive and running from the key switch with a 11hp Briggs from a John Deere 111 part tractor. Just have some final cleaning to do left with the carb or get a new one. At least the little guy is a running machine again. There’s your dinner lol

My experience at Portage Tractor Daze in Portage, WI, was truly enjoyable. Before attending, I converted my JD316 into a two-seater. At the event, I came across a unique Case riding mower that I had never seen before, with minimal information available. As the engine is worn out, replacement may be necessary, but I am eager to produce the first YouTube video about this tractor, showcasing its restoration, the Matt Gray way.

Was waiting for a new solenoid for the old 314 but ended up realizing the oem jd solenoid cracked. Was able to get it to work til finding out a huge mouse nest got into the heat shield of the engine. Planning on knocking these Deeres out quicker to get them running and ready for painting and finish touch ups for warmer weather. Let’s rev it up!! #

Brrr, Jack Frost is coming to town this week with a cold front that's off the charts. But fear not, friends, because the following week is looking a bit more balmy. If it warms up, I'll be embarking on a new project, and I've got three options on my list to get running again - which one do you think I should tackle first?
