I am now accepting new homeschooled students in the Fort Wayne area for the 2021-22 school year!

I can come to your house or homeschool co-op during the school day to teach private lessons, or do ensemble, chamber music, or worship team coaching. Private lessons are available for piano, guitar, voice, flute, oboe, clarinet, or saxophone.

Lessons are $22/half hour for the first student, and $18/half hour for each additional sibling or student.

All lessons are taught by me - Pauline Benner. I have a bachelors degree in music, and 24 years experience teaching music and performing with professional orchestras and theatres.

I have a few openings for new music students this school year!

All lessons are taught by myself, Pauline Benner. My philosophy of teaching is to work with each student individually at their own pace, in order to achieve their musical goals. I strive to teach each student a balanced diet of music including: short etudes, longer performance pieces, scales, chords, sight reading, theory, improvising, performing, and ensemble playing.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Music Performance, and have been teaching private lessons since 1997. I regularly perform professionally on keyboards and woodwinds with the Wagon Wheel Theatre, Symphony of the Lakes, Three Rivers Music Theatre, The Fort Wayne Civic Theatre, and PFW Theatre.

Lessons are available for piano, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, and beginning guitar. Current openings are on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Lessons are $17/half hour in my home. I also offer "house call" lessons for homeschoolers where I come to your home during the school day for $21/half hour.

This will be our last week of lessons for the 2018-19 school year. Thank you for a wonderful year of making music!

I will be taking a break from lessons for a few weeks to play with the orchestra for Wagon Wheel Theatre’s summer season.

I will contact all of my students during the first week of July to schedule lessons again.
