Because so many have asked, please know that UBC Childcare, past and present, will be taking up a memorial collection to honor Mrs. Ernestine Geraldine Stephens' legacy. While we are not asking for a specific giving level, when pooled together, we hope to make a love offering that is as impactful as she was. What does one do when a family enrichment activity conflicts with parent schedules and will potentially leave a child lonely? You enlist community partner support!!
What a time! What a time!! Union Baptist Church and UBC Childcare were invited to participate in Bunche Elementary's Ice Cream Social and EVERYONE was a winner! Thank you to our neighbors, Bunche Montessori, for the invitation. Thank you to our amazing volunteers that didn't hesitate to say Yes to this community outreach opportunity!

Dear UBC Childcare Family,
As you may have heard, Gov. Holcomb hosted a press conference and issued a stay-at- home order for the State of Indiana. This order applies to all non-essential businesses and takes effect on Tuesday, March 24th at 11:59pm. Daycares are still considered essential.
In the interest of public health and safety while fulfilling our role as essential employees, we are asking that you evaluate and communicate your personal status. If you can stay at home and keep your child(ren), please follow the CDC, National and State recommendations and stay home. However, UBC Childcare will remain open as scheduled unless circumstances warrant closure.
Please review your individual circumstances and either by text, call or in person, let Mrs. Dee know if you intend to continue using our daycare services during this Order.
If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to call Mrs. Dee directly so that we'll have the opportunity to address any and all matters of the daycare.
Prayers and Good Health,
Joshua 1:9
