Peace Lutheran Preschool

Our lovely Sharing Peace Cafe has generously offered to host a "Paper Supply Drive" for our preschool! They will be accepting donations of: paper towels, tissues, and napkins.

We truly believe that sharing is caring, and would be delighted to share any surplus of items with our feeder school Lutheran South Unity School Fort Wayne Indiana!

The drive will start on MONDAY, AUGUST 17, and go through September 1st!! There will be a box set up in the cafe to collect donations. Please show proof of donation to the Sharista on duty to receive your 10% off discount on your drink order.

This is such a great resource to start nudging youngsters into healthy habits for the school year! 🙌🏼👩🏼‍🏫🍎📚😴

As we prepare for the first day of school, don't forget the importance of routines!

Members and Friends of Peace Lutheran Church:

Fort Wayne Public Works announced late last week that portions of Fairfield Avenue near the church will be closed for about 1 month. They are continuing the sewer separation project and will close Fairfield Ave between Pettit and Paulding/Airport. The construction is scheduled to continue through Friday, September 11.

What this means for Peace: Peace Lutheran Church is still open. Services will take place on Sundays and Wednesdays as scheduled. Sharing Peace Café is also open for its normal hours of operation. As of today, Fairfield is closed from Fairfax to Paulding. Those wishing to access Peace may do so from the north via Fairfield or through the Woodhurst neighborhood (e.g. South Wayne to Woodhurst Boulevard).

If you are coming from the south, Calhoun to Petit is probably the best detour at this time. As changes in the construction zone take place and other sections of Fairfield are closed, we will do our best to inform you of those adjustments when they affect access to Peace.
