INESA Provides Scholarship Funding to Hoosier Children with Disabilities
The deadline to apply for an Indiana Education Scholarship Account is quickly approaching. But what is an INESA and how does it help? Administered by the Indiana Treasurer of State, the INESA provides scholarship funding to students with disabilities in K-12, which they can use to access the educational environment that best meets their learning needs.
INESA funding helps parents customize education for their eligible children with disabilities receiving non-public education β such as private education, at-home learning, and other non-public educational settings that qualify. This scholarship funding can help your student with disabilities customize their education and cover qualified expenses for educational support, such as tuition and fees, tutoring, transportation costs, occupational therapy, vocational and life-skills courses, extra-curriculum programs, and more.
Parents can apply for up to $19,000 in funding, and applications must be submitted by Sept. 1, 2023.
