We regret to inform you of the passing of Michael Zollinger. He passed away June 30, 2026. He was a member of Local 166 with 24 years of service.

This 4th of July, we proudly celebrate our nation's independence and honor 250 years of American history.
For generations, union men and women have helped build the backbone of this country. We are proud to continue that legacy every day through the skill, dedication and craftsmanship of our members.
Here's to 250 years of building America-- and to the generations who will carry that tradition forward!

Nothing captures the energy of a softball tournament like these split-second moments! From the jobsite to the ballfield, our Local 166 members brought the same dedication, competitive spirit and brotherhood to this year's UA Softball Tournament. Great job guys!

With temperatures climbing this week, take the heat seriously. Working in extreme heat can quickly lead to heat exhaustion or heat stroke if you're not careful.

A few reminders to help stay safe:
Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty.
Wear light-colored, breathable clothing and use sun protection.
Take breaks in the shade or an air-conditioned area whenever possible.
Look out for your coworkers. If someone seems dizzy, confused, nauseous or stops sweating, get them a cool place and seek medical attention immediately.
Avoid excessive caffeine or energy drinks that can contribute to dehydration.

Stay cool, stay hydrated, and watch out for one another!
