π Happy National Watermelon Day! π
Today, our children celebrated with a sweet and refreshing watermelon treat! We loved seeing their smiles as they enjoyed this summertime favorite. β€οΈ
Here are a few fun watermelon facts:
π Watermelon is made up of about 92% water, making it a great way to stay hydrated!
π The entire watermelon is edibleβincluding the rind and seeds!
π Watermelons can be red, pink, yellow, or even orange inside.
π The largest watermelon ever grown weighed more than 350 pounds!
We hope everyone had a wonderful and refreshing National Watermelon Day! πβοΈ

Our terrific twos have been busy learning, creating, and playing! π
This week, they practiced counting and number recognition while matching colorful dots and placing marshmallows on their number mats. They also explored different textures through sand painting and enjoyed plenty of outdoor play with their friends!
Every activity helps strengthen fine-motor skills, early math concepts, creativity, independence, and confidenceβall while having fun! π¨π’βοΈ

π¨π§ Colorful creativity was flowing in Pre-K today!
Our Pre-K friends explored coffee filter watercolor art by coloring coffee filters with markers, then carefully using pipettes to drop water onto their designs. They watched with excitement as the colors spread, blended, and collided to create beautiful works of art!
This hands-on activity was a fun way to explore color mixing, strengthen fine motor skills, and spark curiosity. It was delightfully messyβand so much fun! πβ¨

πΆπ Our Little Praisers were raising a joyful noise during Childrenβs Chapel! ππΆ
From singing and dancing to listening and learning, our friends had a wonderful time praising Jesus together. There were lots of smiles, happy hearts, and, of course, a few chapel wiggles along the way! πβ¨
We love watching their faith grow one song, one story, and one tiny βAmen!β at a time.

The children learned about teamwork through relay races, fun drills, and active games while building confidence and cheering each other on.
Weβre so thankful to Coach Lewis and the Bishop Dwenger players for making Sports Week such a fun and memorable experience for our students! ππ
