Ocean adventures and hands-on fun in our 2s room 🌊🐠☀️

Little hands have been busy exploring ocean slime, creating under-the-sea crafts, and enjoying plenty of outdoor adventures. From stretching, squishing, and exploring sensory materials to decorating ocean-themed creations and splashing during water play, our friends have been learning through hands-on experiences every step of the way.

These activities help strengthen fine motor skills, encourage creativity, support sensory exploration, and promote problem-solving—all while having a whole lot of fun.

There is always something new to explore in our 2’s Room, and we love watching our little learners grow along the way 💙

🦎🐢🐍 Indiana Wild Visits Little Praisers! 🐍🐢🦎
Today our School Age Summer Program had a wild adventure when Indiana Wild came to visit! Our Pre-K friends were also invited to join in on the fun, making it an exciting learning experience for everyone.

The children had the opportunity to see a variety of amazing animals up close, learn interesting facts about each one, and ask lots of great questions. From reptiles and turtles to other unique creatures, there was plenty to discover! Some of our brave friends even got the chance to help with the presentation and interact with the animals.

Hands-on experiences like these help spark curiosity, encourage learning, and create memories that children will talk about long after the day is over. We are so thankful to Indiana Wild for sharing their knowledge and helping our children explore the incredible world of animals!

🚒 Pre-K Firefighter Fun! 🚒

Our Pre-K class has been busy using their imaginations during dramatic play! The children loved dressing up as firefighters, exploring the firetruck, and pretending to work together as a team.

Dramatic play is such an important part of learning at this age. It helps children build language skills, practice teamwork, use problem-solving, and explore real-world roles through play.

We love watching our Little Praisers learn, imagine, and have fun together! ❤️

☀️🏖️ BEACH WEEK FUN! 🏖️☀️

Our School Age Praisers had a wave of fun during Beach Week! 🌊

Throughout the week, they enjoyed watercolor beach scenes, rock painting, treasure maps, sun catchers, sand art, and lots of creative beach-themed fun.

We also had a special visit from the YMCA to talk with the children about water safety. They learned important safety tips and completed fun activities, including drawing lifeguards. 💦🛟

We wrapped up the week with Water Day at the YMCA Splash Pad, full of smiles, laughter, and splashes! 💙

What a fun week of learning, creating, and making summer memories together! 🌞🐚🏖️
