Wakey, Wakey, Eggs and Bakey!

Good Monday Morning, Everyone! I hope you had a restful weekend! Its time to get this party started!

First- a huge, HUGE thank you to everyone who joined with us for our Breast Cancer Awareness T-shirt sale. We have reached our goal! We could not have done it without you!! If you ordered your shirt to be delivered to the classroom and received by your Cadet, those shirts should be available on ~Sept. 29th. Beginning October 1st, Cadets can begin wearing the shirts to class in place of their regular uniform shirt. The balance of uniform code remains the same. I can't wait to see everyone out and about around town! Our hearts are with all of you who shared personal stories of loss and survival. Our hope is for a cure! 💗

Today the Cadets will be beginning Chapter 2 of Hazmat. I cannot stress this enough: Hazmat is a different beast. Notes should be taken and studied. Daily. This is not a unit you review ten minutes before the test and expect to get out with anything that you won't have to defend to your parents later. This goes for you as well, Cadets 😉🤣

Let's have a great week and
Stay Fired Up!🔥

Good Evening!

Just a few reminders for the week ahead:

🔥 Cadets’ Resume rough drafts are due at the beginning of class tomorrow. Be sure to double check spelling, grammar, etc. Make sure you’ve met the assignment requirements and have someone look it over for you if possible- a second set of eyes and unbiased suggestions can be extremely helpful.

🔥 This week the Cadets will start chapter two of their HAZMAT training. This chapter will teach them how to recognize and identify hazards.

🔥The Cadets’ Chapter Two test will be on Friday. HAZMAT can be a challenging subject, but I know they’re all up to the task! Be sure to plan a little extra time each day this week to review notes taken in class. You got this!! 😃 Let’s have a repeat of last week’s test scores!

Have a great evening and
Stay Fired Up 🔥

Do something good for yourself, and check an item off your to-do list for the whole week!

This week’s recipe is live! 🔥

Sometimes you just need something quick and easy. You’re starving after school, you just got home from work and are exhausted, you need something quick between home and gone. No pot and pans to wash, no fancy prep work. No leftovers. I gotchu… 😉

Eat well, be well!
