Happy 250th Birthday, America. The Founding Fathers didn’t write the Second Amendment so you could leave your gun in the safe on the Fourth of July. They wanted you outside. Shooting things. Waving the flag. Drinking something cold. And being absolutely insufferable to anyone who tries to take your freedom.

George Washington didn’t cross the Delaware in the freezing cold so you could skip the range this weekend.

Thomas Jefferson didn’t write “Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness” so you could be unarmed while pursuing it.

Benjamin Franklin didn’t discover electricity so you could use it to watch other people celebrate.

Get out there. Train hard. Grill something. Wave the flag loud enough that the neighbors know exactly where you stand.
