This morning was Northcrest’s very first “Secret Attendance Day”! All students who came to school and arrived on time ✅ received a special treat when they walked in the building from staff members! Secret Attendance Days can happen on any day, you never know! 🤫

Starting this month, we are focusing on student attendance and promoting on-time arrival so that students are in the classroom, ready to learn when the bell rings! 🛎️

We are also having a competition between grade levels for highest attendance rate each week of October. For this week, the grade with the highest attendance gets a slushy party! 🥇

Our first round of Shining Knight students for the 2026-27 school year! These students were nominated for being respectful, responsible, and safe around the school! 🤩
Some comments from their teachers include:
"Kaidan has been doing awesome this year staying safe! He is rocking our hallway and classroom procedures!" 🫡
"Hannah is always so kind to others and works so hard to do her best work. She is a model student and helps others often. We love having Hannah in our class!" ❤
"She has been an outstanding example of our Northcrest values! Welcome to Northcrest, Annie!" 🙌

Our next Friday poster reveal is our Multi Language Learners Team! Mrs. Basile, Mrs. Bresnahan, Mrs. Hartman, and Mrs. Luessenhop support and teach our students who are new to the country and working on their language skills. Did you know that we have 26 different languages that are spoken at Northcrest? The MLL team values our diversity and helps the whole school community celebrate it! 🇧🇴
