Our PreK 4 students continue to get to know our school family. Recently, they were introduced to Mrs. Horn, our Food Services Director. Next, the class donned gloves and hair nets for a behind-the-scenes kitchen tour! They met the rest of our culinary crew, peeked at where the food is stored and prepared, and watched the dishwashing magic! What a great way to encourage students to appreciate where those scrumptious school lunches come from!

We can't think of anything more A-PEELING to dive into this fall than APPLES! Our 1st graders embarked on an apple-tastic journey, spending a week with Johnny Appleseed, exploring apple varieties, and even venturing to an apple orchard. The grand adventure culminated in "The Great Apple Investigation," where students became pint-sized apple detectives, examining their apples, slicing, dicing, and of course, munching away. Parents joined the fruity fun, helping students hop from station to station, whipping up apple sauce, measuring apples, and testing if apples sink or swim. For the grand finale, students chomped away, tallying the bites it took to finish their apples! TOTALLY APPLE-TASTIC! 🍎 🍏

Congratulations to SEASCS alum Aaron Cash on being selected to participate in the 2026 Heather Headley Master Class! Aaron currently attends Bishop Dwenger High School where he is active in show choir and theater. Way to go Aaron!

Headley, a Fort Wayne native whose career as an artist has earned her awards such as a Tony and a Grammy, is giving back to the community through the program.

Miss Widner was all smiles as she welcomed Richard, a proud 1953 alum of Saint Joseph Catholic School on Brooklyn Avenue, to our Generations Day celebration last week! Richard came to be with his granddaughter Chloe, a current 6th-grade student at SEASCS, making this a genuine Generations Day celebration in more ways than one! 💛 ❤️

Every October, SEASCS throws a shindig called "Generations Day" for our 1st, 3rd, and 6th grade students. The day begins in church with the students taking part in a special Mass, followed by classroom escapades, a book fair shopping spree, and a buffet of fun activities for students and guests to dive into together. It’s a feel-good festival celebrating our students, school family, and everyone who sprinkles a little magic into life! Huge thanks to the middle school students and school and parish staff who roll up their sleeves to make this day special for our younger students and their guests. 💛 ❤
