May 2026 Coronal Polishing and Caries Prevention (Fluoride Application) Course Information!

The course consists of online modules and an in-person session. Participants must complete the online coursework by Wednesday, April 29, 2026. The in-person preclinical session will take place on Saturday, May 2, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Registration closes on Wednesday, April 15, 2026.

🤩 Congratulations to our student, Abigail Rumschlag, for being selected for the ADAA Merit Scholar Award!!! 🤩

Ms. Abigail M. Rumschlag a dental assisting student at Indiana University Fort Wayne has been named as a recipient of the ADAA Merit Scholar Award. Ms. Rumschlag is a resident of Decatur IN.

The award is given annually by the American Dental Assistants Association. The ADAA Merit Scholar Award is to honor those dental assisting students who exhibit proficiency in four-handed dentistry and exemplify the critical contribution an educated dental assistant makes to the success of clinical outcomes, patient satisfaction and improved office efficiency. Recipients of this award also embody the qualities represented by Juliette A. Southard that include loyalty, courtesy and professionalism.

Ms. Rumschlag is from Decatur IN where she currently resides with her parents Shaun and Amy Rumschlag. Mrs. Rumschlag is a 4-H educator in Adams County and Mr. Rumschlag is a Funeral director at Zwick and Jahn Funeral home.

Abbey Rumschlag is a 2022 graduate of Bellmont High School where she was active in the FFA, National Honor Society, Tennis, Volleyball, and 4-H. Her sister Elise is currently a junior at Bellmont high and a member of the tennis team.
