Meet Allie🩺
Undergrad: Manchester College
Major: Athletic Training
Patient Care experience: 16 years with Parkview/ONE as a certified ATC
Favorite memory: Practicing OSCEs with my friend with my youngest daughter nearby. I was the fake patient and stated my family history consisted of my mom dying of cancer, my daughter gasped and screamed NANA DIED!? Also just bringing my kids to extra activities with my classmates and watching them connect with ppl who have become such an important part of my support system in PA school. PA school has definitely been a family journey and I love that my family has been able to experience pieces of it alongside me

Special interest: Ortho and Trauma but keeping an open mind during clinical rotations! I also love working with kids.

Advice: YOU are capable of doing hard things, even when your path doesn’t look like everyone else’s. Keep coming back to your “why.” (For me, my kids!) Learn from your classmates and support one another. We are all working towards the same goal- to become PAs who take great care of people. Someday, the patient across from your classmate could be someone you love. That’s reason enough to cheer each other on along the way! PA school is challenging but also a season of life you’ll never get back so have fun and make memories along the way!
