Yesterday, Matt Leighty and Thomas Moll of Worship Anew - Lutheran Ministries Media, a ministry that broadcasts worship resources for aging adults, gave a convocation presentation on “Aging Well,” sharing the findings of a survey of 1,000 adults aged 55 and older. Using these results, Leighty and Moll encouraged students to care for the aging in their future churches and mission fields.

Thank you, St. John’s! Today, the Golden Eagles and seventh- and eighth-grade classes from St. John’s Lutheran Church and School in Marysville, Ohio, brought their largest load of donations to date to the Food Co-op during their biennial campus visit. We thank them for their generosity and were glad to once again host them on campus!

After chapel yesterday, the CTSFW community and our Donation Day visitors headed down to the site of our new Food & Clothing Co-op building for a groundbreaking ceremony. Representatives from the Seminary Guild, CTSFW’s Campaign Steering Committee, Lutheran Women in Mission (LWML), Michael Kinder & Sons, and students and families celebrated the new building, which will serve students and families well into the future.
