Congratulations to Sophia Song ’27, whose research paper on the rise of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia was recently published in The Concord Review, an international academic journal featuring historical research by secondary school students.

Sophia's work challenges conventional explanations of the Khmer Rouge's rise to power, examining the deeper political and historical factors that shaped Cambodia.

Thank you to the 200+ attendees who kicked off fall with us at Sunday’s Parents’ Committee event. The weather may have brought the festivities indoors, but the Field House was filled with inflatables, arts and crafts, tasty snacks, raffle prizes, dancing, and plenty of fun for all.

Thank you to the members of GA’s Patriots Society for chiming in with their support to GA! πŸ”” Last week, nearly 175 of our school’s leadership donors gathered in the reimagined Academic Courtyard, made possible thanks to the GA Parents’ Committee, for our annual Patriots Society Party.

As Head of School Rich Schellhas 1760 shared during the event, the generosity of this group lays the foundation for both this chapter of Germantown Academy’s story and the next chapter of our incredible history.
