I'm inviting a small group of readers to read The Grief Reset before anyone else does. 👇

Joining the ARC Team means: you get the book early, you read it in the days before launch, and afterward you leave an honest review — not a positive one, an honest one.

If you've been carrying grief the church never gave you language for, this one's for you.

Applications close Friday, August 21.

You are allowed to heal slowly.

You are allowed to need care, too — not just give it. Whatever this week carried, you don't have to have it figured out by Monday.

No hard sell today. Just this: if you want a private place to start, the free Reflection Guide is linked in bio.

Faith does not require pretending.

You can bring God your real anger, your real exhaustion, your real doubt — and still be faithful. Honest prayer and emotional truth were never meant to compete. Psalm 139 puts it plainly: "Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts."

Faith meets feelings. It was never faith versus feelings.

Save this one. And when you're ready, the free Reflection Guide at thegriefreset.com is a private place to start.

On June 22, I attended The School District of Philadelphia's Partner Appreciation Lunch. Your Voice Heard, LLC is honored to serve as a Strategic School Partner.
It was a pleasure connecting with fellow school partners, sharing ideas, and learning about the new Partnerships Dashboard. This innovative tool will strengthen communication, increase visibility of partner resources, and foster greater collaboration across schools to better support students, families, and educators.
We look forward to continuing our work alongside the School District of Philadelphia to make a meaningful impact in our school communities.

We were proud to join the Office of Strategic Partnerships for their annual Partner Appreciation Lunch and recognize the organizations that help enrich the educational experience for our students. More than 120 partner organizations gathered to celebrate the impact of our collective work in areas su...

I am deeply grateful to the Burlington-Camden (NJ) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., and the Burlington Camden Kappa Community Development Corporation for honoring me with the African American Women’s Achievement Award on Sunday, April 19, 2026.

The Kappas’ commitment to community service—through initiatives like Kappa League youth mentorship and Hannah’s House, which supports women survivors of human trafficking, sexual assault, and domestic violence—beautifully aligns with my work in bringing awareness to grief beyond death.

As I received this recognition, I embraced it as a moment to educate and inspire. I shared that while grief is often associated with death, it is truly an emotional response to a wide range of experiences—including trauma, significant life transitions, and losses such as domestic violence, relocation, or job loss.

I also highlighted an important milestone: in January 2024, New Jersey enacted legislation mandating grief education for students in grades 8–12, making it the only state in the nation to require such instruction. This was met with both surprise and pride among attendees, many of whom were previously unaware of this progressive step forward.

Thank you to my family, friends, and colleagues who attended and those who placed congratulatory ads in support. Your love and encouragement mean more than words can express.
