It is with great sadness that we share the passing of Jo Henderson, one of the founding members of Liza Jackson Preparatory School.

Alongside Annette Lee and Terri Roberts, Jo helped establish Liza Jackson around a kitchen table. She served as Chairman of our Board for 20 years. Her dedication to children and education helped build the school and community we are so proud of today.

We are forever grateful for Jo’s service and the lasting legacy she leaves at Liza Jackson. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family and all who loved her.

Join the LJPS S2S Military Kids Club! 🇺🇸💜

Calling all students in Kindergarten through 8th Grade!

This year, our club will:

Complete 4 community outreach projects - Volunteering at Children in Crisis, a local food pantry, Hawthorn House, and Fisher House
Support our local military service members and their families - Stuff the Stockings
Help ensure every student feels welcomed, included, and has a true sense of belonging
