Dear Saint Mary Catholic School Families and Parishioners,
On behalf of the entire Saint Mary’s Impact Board, we want to extend our heartfelt Thank You to everyone who made our 2025/2026 Grant Reveal celebration such a beautiful and successful evening! Your presence, enthusiasm, and generous spirit truly made the night special for our entire school community.
We are excited to announce that Grant #4 – the SMCS Pre-K/ K Wing Playground Upgrade – was selected as the recipient of this year’s $87,000 grant!
This project will completely transform the PreK/K playground by:
• Removing all corrosive sand.
• Replacing it with a soft, manufactured foam safety surface.
• Covering the concrete track and unusable "grass" areas with high-quality artificial turf.
The result will be a much safer, more attractive, and fully usable outdoor learning and play space for our youngest students. Work is scheduled to begin this June and be fully completed in time for the 2026/2027 school year.
A Legacy of Growth
Thanks to your continued support, Saint Mary’s Impact has now raised over $287,000 in just the last two years. These funds are making a tremendous difference at Saint Mary Catholic School.
In partnership with the parish and the diocese, the school has developed a comprehensive plan for a new building that will include a new administrative office and 4 brand-new classrooms, allowing us to welcome an additional 50-60 students to our halls.
Furthermore, the school, parish, and diocese are preparing to begin work on a feasibility study for a Catholic high school to serve the Okaloosa County area. The study will begin in August of 2026.
Looking Ahead
Our goal for next year is to raise $150,000. With your continued support—and by each of you participating or bringing at least one new person into Saint Mary’s Impact—we can achieve this ambitious target and continue to drive even greater growth for our school and community.
None of this would be possible without your dedication to Catholic education. Thank you again for being such an important part of our community.
With gratitude,
Saint Mary’s Impact Board
