At BC Music we care about the health of your learning and playing. Maintaining a healthy instrument is part of the learning and growing experience. Our techs specialize in minor and major adjustments needed for great sound and great playability.

If your guitar isn't meeting your expectations we can help.
We service Fort Walton, Niceville and Crestview locations.

We change strings of all kind. Acoustic, 12 string, Electric, Bass, and Classical Guitars.

We carry Elixir, Martin, Dadarrio, and Ernie Ball strings,

We adjust Intonation, The Truss Rod, Lower the action, Adjust the bridge, saddle, and nut when needed.

Because a guitar is made from wood the humidity, weather changes effect the wood where the neck might bow needing adjustments periodically.

Adjustments are made usually in 3 places. The neck bow can need tension or a release and this is done with a Truss Rod adjustment, The nut at the top of the neck will sometimes need to be adjusted allowing the strings to sit in place a bit better, this takes careful precision. The saddle is at the bridge and can be adjusted to lower overall string height making the guitar much more playable on the higher frets especially but can also sometime be a great overall solution when the neck is set and the strings are still too high on the fret board.

We can replace or upgrade your pickups in your electric and acoustic guitar.

We can convert your acoustic guitar into an acoustic electric.

This takes time and precision so please be patient it will be worth the wait.

We also adjust the pickup to modify the sound to the taste of the player. We specialize in helping you find your sound!

We install Guitar strap buttons and Strap locks

Strap locks will prevent the strap from giving away and possibly damage the guitar by falling on a hard surface. Strap locks replace the strap button but we do install both.
