New school year. New opportunities to make great choices.

Integrity at school can be as simple as doing your own work, admitting when you’ve made a mistake, treating classmates fairly, and following through on what you say you’ll do.

As we close out September, encourage your child to show their Black Belt Excellence beyond the martial arts school and inside the classroom, too.

Those are the skills that students can carry with them long after class ends.

Do ONE thing each day simply because you know it’s the right thing to do.

Help without being asked.
Tell the truth when it’s difficult.
Keep a promise.
Finish a responsibility.
Include someone who feels left out.

Small choices can build strong character.

Parents, ask your martial artist how they practiced integrity this week!

Making a mistake doesn’t define your character.

What you do next does.

Integrity means being able to say, “I made a mistake,” take responsibility, learn from it, and make a better choice next time.

That takes courage, and it’s a skill worth practicing both on and off the mat.

That’s where integrity comes in.

Through martial arts, students learn that strong character is built through the choices they make every day, including telling the truth, keeping their word, taking responsibility, and doing the right thing even when it isn’t the easiest choice.

PMA PARENT ANNOUNCEMENT 🔊

From the Wilchers -

We are deeply sorry to share that we will be closing the studio at the end of February. February 29th will be the last day of class.

We are closing because we could not get enough members to join to make the business prosper financially.

The Wilchers sincerely regret that they are not able to sustain the business with the size of losses they have been incurring.

They appreciated your membership and wish you the very best, and hope and pray our members can take what they learned - self control, confidence, self defense - and apply it going forward, and that you will all continue your martial arts journey.

We will refund any PIF fully on the 29th and will not bill any in March, so your billing in February will be the last one.

We love our students and parents and the way you all have supported this studio, and we love the progress we have seen in your martial arts journey.

We can see the improvements in discipline, self confidence, self control, and fitness across our members. We can’t thank you enough for being members here!

We strongly encourage you to continue your martial arts journey at other studios in town. You have made progress and learned what a good martial arts school should look like.

This is one of the hardest things I’ve had to do. Mr Dj and I will make sure the kiddos understand this part of their journey. We are here for them.
