🌟National Recognition for Peach County FFA!🌟

We are incredibly proud to announce that Peach County FFA has once again been recognized as a National 3-Star Chapter by the National FFA Organization! This prestigious honor recognizes chapters that excel in developing leaders, building communities, and strengthening agriculture through outstanding programs and activities.

This fall, our chapter will travel to Indianapolis, Indiana, to be recognized during the 99th National FFA Convention & Expo alongside the nation's top FFA chapters.

This achievement reflects the hard work and dedication of our members, officers, alumni, parents, supporters, school administration, and community partners who continue to invest in our program. Thank you for believing in our students and helping us create opportunities that make a lasting impact.

On Tuesday, July 21st, several of our officers had the opportunity to attend the 2026 Legislative Breakfast hosted by the Crawford, Taylor, and Peach County Farm Bureau offices!
During the event, our officers connected with state legislators and shared updates about our program, including the exciting events and initiatives planned for the upcoming year. They had the opportunity to speak with Representative Robert Dickey, State Senator Steve McNeel, Georgia Farm Bureau President Tom McCall, and representatives from the offices of Jon Ossoff and Stanford Bishop, gaining valuable insight into current efforts to support and strengthen Georgia’s agricultural industry.

Hearing firsthand about the real-world issues impacting Georgia’s #1 industry gave our students a deeper understanding of the role agriculture plays in our state and beyond. We want to thank these local Farm Bureaus for their invitation and support to our students!

Scout Collaborates with Peach County FFA, Installs New Sensory Garden for Students at PCHS

FORT VALLEY, GA — A new sensory garden at Peach County High School is providing students with expanded opportunities for hands-on learning, thanks to a collaboration between Peach County FFA and Scout Landon Heuring of Troop 550.

The project, which began in October 2025, was led by Landon, who organized fundraising efforts and oversaw the design, construction, and installation of the initial garden features. Peach County FFA members are now working to expand the space and improve accessibility to better serve all students.

Planned improvements include ADA-accessible pathways and additional garden areas designed to support STEM-based instruction, particularly for special education students. The organization hopes to complete the project by Fall 2026.

Peach County FFA is currently seeking donations or discounted materials from local businesses and community members to assist in making the garden fully ADA accessible and to enhance its educational use.

“This initiative represents an important step in ensuring all students have access to engaging, hands-on learning environments,” said FFA Advisor and Agricultural Educator Ms. Luz Morales.
