Today in Biology, students put their biomolecule knowledge to the test! 🧪🔬

Teams tested unknown food samples for carbohydrates, proteins, and lipids, using chemical indicators to figure out what was hiding in each sample. They made observations, compared results, and used evidence to identify the biomolecules present.

A little chemistry, a little detective work, and a whole lot of science happening in the lab! Today in Biology, students put their biomolecule knowledge to the test!

🔥 LET’EM COOK! 🔥
Our 4th graders were putting their STEM skills to work this week with a Marshmallow Tower Investigation! 🏗️🍡
Students explored how to measure length while designing, building, testing, and improving their towers. They measured, problem-solved, collaborated, and—most importantly—learned through the process!
These Panthers were definitely cooking up some great science! 👩‍🔬👨‍🔬🔥

Ready, Set… Let’em Cook! 👨‍🍳📚
Our Intermediate students came back ready to learn, explore, and create! From smiling faces on the first day to jumping into hands-on STEM challenges, our Cubs are already cooking up an amazing year of learning. We can’t wait to see all the great things they’ll accomplish this year! 💙🤍

Today in Mrs. Martinez's Biology, we put problem-solving and teamwork to the test with a little puzzle challenge!
Teams had a set amount of time to build as much of their puzzle as possible, but there was one catch: no picture of the finished puzzle. They had to use observation, communication, logic, and a little trial and error to figure it out.
It was a great way to see the science skills we talk about in action: make observations, develop strategies, test ideas, and adapt when something doesn’t work.
Great job today, Biology!

🔥 Our TEAM Intermediate staff brought the heat during yesterday’s Cooking Challenge! From creative recipes to lots of laughs, it was the perfect recipe for teamwork and fun. 🍽️❤️
