Nature, plants & flowers have guided me long before I knew we were connected.

I launched of my first business Sew. Stylish. Saché at the age of 20 while in college. This business was centered on creating flower crowns; helping the divine feminine feel beautiful. The business evolved, but something about creating a handpicked floral crown into botanical art brought me back to my center.

I foraged all of the materials from my backyard & various locations throughout Florida; where my roots run deep 🍊

I collabrated with my Atlanta-based copper jewlery designer (who has been my designer for yearsss) to help bring the pieces together (pun intended 😉) sun | sōl | soil | ꩜

My sister did my makeup & baby… twin always knows that I like! S A N I Y A H

And lastly, Chromo on the Cam St. Augustine FL Photographer helped me bring my vision to life!

I am also extremely thankful to have friends who appreciate my artistry. My sister friend Shantay V Events LLC now has my flower crown displayed in her Puerto Rican Palace 🥹🇵🇷🌺

The Copper & Cotton earrings grew from that remembrance: natural materials, handwork, collaboration, and a creative language I’ve carried with me for years.

I’ve spent many years after my 2016 awakening in hiding; navigating how to integrate all that I know & all that I Am at the core.

I played small as I navigated a path that has never been traveled before. I never fit in & I always rebelled against the norm. As a result, they ostracized me & played in my face.

Still, I continued to create along the way, even with a child on my ni**le. When those creations bloomed, I stood by waiting for others to give me my flowers… only to realize that my flowers come from God.

Painfully, learned that I can’t expect flowers from those who are committed to not hearing me or seeing me. If they can’t see themselves, I know they won’t see my vision.

Most importantly, I learned how to give myself a garden and not settle for flowers!

I’ve been a Creator since the day I was created, and it has been a God given gift to create with my hands through transmitting visions into tangible assets.

This year I reclaimed freedom in a way that I can’t even begin to describe. I surrendered, and in doing so, I found contentment in knowing that I no longer have to wonder or worry, because I know that as long as I continue to transmute visions given to me by God into Art, I’ll forever be taken care of.

It was through attracting people who burned themselves in attempts to tame my flame and dim my light, that I recognized my need for self acceptance, more self expression, and self love.

After 3 years of breastfeeding and playing small, I’ve returned to myself… and still.

I am an untamed wild flame, and my lesson is to be exactly who I’ve always been. I no longer desire to explain to anyone who I am or what I do, only show them.

Like a true flower girl, I continue to bloom.

As my work continues to evolve, these creations now live within Wild Currency Creative, a creative archive where movement, storytelling, education, and future projects continue to bloom. ❀

Many of you met me as a birth worker, educator, or yoga instructor, but those chapters are only part of my creative journey.

Before wellness, there was fashion, modeling, branding, product design, YouTube, entrepreneurship, and years of learning how creativity can become both meaningful work and lasting legacy.

I'm excited to finally share Wild Currency Creative, a space that brings those chapters together. This website serves as my creative archive, publishing studio, and home for the work I've been building over the years, from collaborations and workbooks to creative projects that continue to evolve.

A couple months ago, I shared that I was raising funds to attend an advanced Yoga teacher training that will allow me to expand the wellness support I provide to military families and rural communities.

Since then, I have been selected as a recipient of the Donald R. Tyree Foundation Scholarship AND the Birth Future Foundation Fund (BFF) Watering the Seeds: Doula Edition 😍😭🙌🏾

I have also personally invested more than $3,800 toward this journey while continuing my work as a doula, perinatal yoga instructor, community health educator, and senior pursuing my bachelor's degree in Global and Community Health.

Through this work, I have supported military families and civilian families across rural Georgia through yoga, maternal wellness education, community partnerships, and volunteer initiatives throughout the Fort Stewart area.

After scholarships, community support, and my own investment, $1,600 remains to fully fund this next phase of training.

I’m currently raising funds to attend an advanced Yoga teacher training to deepen my practice and continue supporting military and civilian families through movement, maternal wellness, and perinatal education.
