Sunnymede PTA 2026-2027

As this school year comes to a close, I just want to say thank you to everyone who helped make this such an incredible year for our PTA. Because of the support from our families, teachers, staff, volunteers, and community, we were able to accomplish so much together.

This year was about more than just events and fundraisers — it was about building friendships, creating lasting memories for our kids, and bringing our school community even closer together. Seeing so many new faces get involved and watching everyone come together for the students has been so special.

We are already excited and planning for next school year, and we have so many fun ideas and goals ahead that we can’t wait to share with everyone.

I hope all of our families have a fun, relaxing, and safe summer filled with lots of happy memories. Thank you again for all of your support this year — it truly means so much.

What an AMAZING Teacher Appreciation Week for our Sunnymede teachers! 💙🐾

This week, Sunnymede PTA was able to spoil our staff with:
🌯 A fajita bar from El Olvido loaded with all the fixings
🥪 A sub, veggie, dip & chip bar
🍩 Donuts and orange juice
🌭 A chili/cheese bar with hot dogs and nachos
🍽️ Plus so many delicious dishes and treats brought in by our wonderful families!

None of this would have been possible without the incredible support from the families who continue to show up for Sunnymede PTA. Every event you attend, every membership, every donation, and every helping hand truly makes a difference. THANK YOU for helping us love on our teachers and staff the way they deserve!

With that being said… 🎉
We are officially starting PTA sign-ups for the 2026-2027 school year, and we would LOVE for you to join our team!
One thing we really want parents to know is this: PTA does NOT have to be overwhelming. You do NOT have to commit to every single event or meeting. Our PTA is all about helping when you can — no pressure and absolutely no judgment. Whether you can volunteer once a year or every month, we are thankful for any help you’re able to give.

Our goal is to build a fun, supportive team so we can make next school year even bigger and better for our kids and families! 💙

Some fun things we’re hoping to do next year:

🎃 Fall Carnival
👻 Trunk or Treat (and possibly Haunted Halls!)
🍕 Lots of Spirit Nights
🐾 A YEAR-ROUND Sunnymede Bulldog merch store
💘 Valentine’s Glow Dance
✨ And so much more!

Another huge goal for PTA next year is finding more ways to support and improve things for our students — things like new playground balls, equipment, student activities, and more. If you have ideas, we would LOVE to hear them!

Please send your item in a disposable (throwaway) pan if possible.

⏰ Drop-off time:
All food should be delivered to the school by 10:30 AM.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to CiCi’s Pizza and supported our PTA! It was so great seeing families and friends enjoying time together—we truly had a blast.
We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support you show Sunnymede. The owner always shares how wonderful our Bulldog family is and genuinely looks forward to our spirit nights with you all.
