🐾❤️ SNACK SHACK IS TOMORROW! ❤️🐾

Our first Snack Shack of the school year will be happening during student lunch tomorrow! 🎉

Students will be able to purchase:

🥔 Chips — $2
🍬 Candy — $2
🥤 Soda — $2
🍭 Cotton Candy — $3

If you'd like your child to participate, please make sure they bring money with them tomorrow! 😊

🍿 Snack Shack Volunteers Needed! 🍿

We’ll be having our first Snack Shack of the school year this Friday during the kids’ lunches! ❤️🖤

If any parents would like to come help us run the Snack Shack, we’d love to have you! We’ll be there from about 10:30 AM until a little after 12:30 PM, possibly closer to 1:00 PM.

You don’t have to stay the whole time—if you can only stop by for a little while, that’s absolutely perfect! Come when you can and leave when you need to. Every little bit of help is appreciated!

🐾 Sunnymede PTA Meeting! ❤️🖤

Our next PTA meeting is coming up, and we have some fun things to talk about! We’d love for you to come listen, share ideas, or jump in and help wherever you can. No pressure and no commitment—just come be part of the conversation! 😊

Here’s what we’ll be discussing:

🍕 Parent-Teacher Conferences
• PTA providing dinner for our teachers and staff

🎃 Trunk or Treat — Our Main Topic!
• Planning, ideas, volunteers, and everything we need to make it a fun night for our Sunnymede families

🥫 November Spirit Month: Giving Back
• We want to make November all about giving back to our Sunnymede families with a school-wide food drive!
• Every food item donated will go directly to Sunnymede families in our school community who could use a little extra support. ❤️
• We’re thinking about turning it into a friendly class competition and need your help deciding on the winning reward: a pizza party or an ice cream party? 🍕🍦

💡 Brainstorming Parent Involvement
• We’d love to hear your ideas for fun, simple ways to get more parents involved at Sunnymede—whether you can volunteer often or only once in a while.

👕 Spirit Merch
• We’ll also talk about the spirit wear ideas that have been suggested, especially some fun options for the upcoming holidays! 🎄🐾

Most importantly, you do not have to volunteer or commit to anything to come to a PTA meeting. If you’d simply like to listen, share an idea, or see what we’re all about, we’d love to have you!

Our meetings are super calm, casual, and fun—and kids are always welcome! ❤️

Come hang out with us and help make Sunnymede even better for our kids and families!

🍬👻 THE CANDY MONSTER IS BACK… AND HE’S COMING EARLY THIS YEAR! 👻🍬

Our Candy Monster is making his return to Sunnymede, and he has a BRAND NEW LOOK that he can’t wait to show off in the hallways! 👀🐾

Starting September 14th, our Candy Monster will be ready to be fed! 🍭🍫 He’ll be collecting donations all the way through October 30th to help us stock up for this year’s Sunnymede Trunk or Treat! 🎃👻

We have A LOT of trunks to fill for all of our students, and we’re hoping to make this year’s event bigger and more fun than ever! 🐾🎃

We are accepting donations of:
🍬 Candy
⭐ Stickers
🎁 Small prizes/toys
👻 Temporary tattoos
🎉 And ANY fun goodies that we can hand out from our trunks or use for the kids’ games!

Every donation helps! Our goal is to make sure every Sunnymede student gets to enjoy a fun, family-friendly and safe trick-or-treating experience. 🎃🍬
