‼️ Beginning October 14, Fort Smith Public Schools will participate in Code ADAM (Automatic Defibrillator Adam's Memory) response drills as part of our ongoing commitment to keeping our students and staff safe and prepared. During these planned drills, schools will activate 911, and emergency responders will respond as they would during a real cardiac emergency. If you see emergency vehicles at an FSPS school during this time, please know it may be part of a scheduled drill.

The drills will be observed by the Arkansas Children's Hospital as part of our efforts to earn Heart Safe Schools certification. These exercises give our staff the opportunity to practice, strengthen our emergency response procedures, and be prepared to act when every second matters. ‼️

These visits gave our legislators the opportunity to connect with students and staff and experience firsthand the learning, innovation, and opportunities happening each day at FSPS. We're grateful to our legislators for taking the time to visit, and to our school board members, Susan Kraftt and Brittney Hall, for joining us and helping showcase the great things happening in our schools!
