Our Engineering and Math tutor, Danu, is biking across the country this summer! We are so proud of him and his passion for Journey of Hope!
This summer, Danu Regalado will bike nearly 4,000 miles across the country—but for him, the journey is about much more than endurance.
As part of The Ability Experience’s Journey of Hope, the electrical engineering major is riding to promote empathy, inclusion, and understanding for people with disabilities. Inspired by his own experiences growing up with ADHD and alongside a cousin with autism, he hopes to challenge stigmas and encourage more kindness in every community he visits.
“We weren’t any less capable,” he says. “We just had skills in different areas.”
