✨ 2 WEEKS OF SCHOOL GONE ALREADY?! ✨
How is that even possible?! 🥹 As we say goodbye to August, we’re also saying goodbye to our Bubbles, Boats & Floats unit! 🫧⛵💦
And now, as we welcome in the “BER” months 🍂, we’re also welcoming a brand-new unit…
🌟 ALL ABOUT ME! 🌟
This week was packed with learning, laughter, friendship, and so many sweet little moments! ❤️
🫧 We discovered what sinks and what floats through hands-on learning experiences. We tested different objects, made our predictions, and then got to see for ourselves what stayed on top of the water and what sank to the bottom!
✝️🌊 And of course, we tied our learning right back to Jesus! We learned that Jesus has power over the water and talked about how He was able to WALK on the water without SINKING! 👣🌊 What an amazing way to connect what we were learning through science with what we are learning through God's Word! ❤️
✂️ We worked those little hands with some cutting practice, building our fine-motor skills and learning how to safely and confidently use scissors. Those little snips are preparing our hands for so many important skills!
👫 We continued getting to know our new friends and watching new friendships begin to form.
✏️ We had SO much fun learning with the newest addition to our classroom — Mr. Pencil! He is already bringing so much excitement to writing, letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and more!
🎧 We also enjoyed spending time at our Listening Center and with our Tonies! The kids loved choosing stories to listen to, slowing down for a little quiet learning time, and enjoying another fun way to experience stories in our classroom.
🎉 And last but certainly not least… we enjoyed FREE PLAY FRIDAY!
There is just something so beautiful about watching these kids begin to break out of their shells and truly play together. 🥹 Watching their imaginations come alive, hearing their conversations, and seeing their friendships grow is one of my favorite parts of what I get to do.
And it is absolutely precious watching the boys play so sweetly with our little girl — even helping to get her all “beautified” during pretend play! 😂💄💇♀️ Their little personalities are really beginning to shine!
Then, after all that learning and playing, comes a much-needed rest… 😴❤️ And goodness, they just look so innocent and precious when they're sleeping!
I LOVE THESE KIDS SOOOOO MUCH!!! 🥹❤️🏹
August was just the beginning, and now we are officially ready to dive into our FIRST FULL MONTH of the school year! 🍎📚
September, here we come! 🍂🖤
