Recently declassified photo dated May 4th, 1942

My overhauled motor is on the way home from Ly-Con. When I told them about my “FrankenCub” they came up with some great ideas for the paint job. Each valve cover is a different vintage of Lycoming logo and the finished paint job picks up on the Frankenstein idea - fake rust and age like a rat rod paint job. And the green case paint matches the green glow around the FrankenCub tail art. More pictures in a few weeks when it’s mounted up and running. I can’t recommend Ly-Con highly enough. They put 5.5 hours on the motor while on the Dyno getting it set up perfectly. These guys treated my little O-320 like it was a Reno race motor. Great shop.
