One hour a week. That's really all it takes. 🎹

People tell us they'd love to take a class but they don't have the time for it. We hear it constantly. So here's the honest version: most of our classes at the Arkansas Center for the Creative Arts meet once a week for an hour.

Not a career change. Not a five-year plan. One hour a week.

Meet Mr. B.

He directs theatre at CSA, and we are lucky to have him!

"Braden Miller is a stage director, actor, and theatre educator. Throughout his career, he has worked at regional, summer stock, collegiate, educational, and community theatres in various roles across the country, and for the past year, Braden has served as Access Fellow and Lecturer in the Department of Visual and Theatre Arts at the University of Tennessee at Martin. He obtained his BA in Theatre Performance from Freed-Hardeman University and his MFA in Theatre Arts Directing from the University of Idaho. Braden is passionate about working with children in theatre, and he cannot wait to serve the CSA community!"

Reminder for the grown-ups dropping their kids off: you can take a class too. 💃🏻

We have drop-in dance classes for ages 14 and up, including adult classes! These classes are designed for people whose weeks do not look the same twice. Come when you can! We have an all levels adult ballet class for ages 17+ on Tuesdays and intermediate level commercial dance classes on Thursdays (6-7pm for teens, 7-8pm for 18+).

And the rest of the lineup is still open: acting, instruments, dance, and more, for students of everybage. Whether yiu want to pick up something for the first time or get back to something you loved twenty years ago, we have a spot for you.

We are still holding auditions this week for Disney's Frozen Jr., and every student who auditions is cast! 😍

Grades 3-8, no experience needed! We also don't want cost to be a deciding factor. Scholarships are available and everyone who applies receives one. They cover a portion of tuition that make it work for a lot of families who assumed it wouldn't. Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm, with occasional Saturday rehearsals. Tech week is December 6th through the 12th.
