The RAWC will return to summer operating hours on Monday, July 24th.

RAWC Summer Hours:
Monday-Thursday: 6am-7pm
Friday: 6-9am and 4-7pm
Saturday: 9am-2pm
Sunday: 1-5pm

The Recreation and Wellness Center (RAWC) will remain closed through next week, with hopes to reopen on Monday, July 24th. Parts needed to repair the air conditioning system have been ordered and are expected to arrive late next week for installation. The Dave Stevens Lion Pride Pantry will also be closed during this time. The UAFS campus community may visit the University Police Department on 51st Street to obtain a sack of food, as needed. Unfortunately, the Recreation and Wellness Center (RAWC) will be closed Wednesday, July 12th, due to issues with the air conditioning. Our maintenance team is working with outside contractors to resolve the problem. Please stay tuned for updates on the RAWC operating hours for this week.

The University of Arkansas- Fort Smith (UAFS) Campus Recreation and Wellness department is looking for an enthusiastic professional to join our team!
The Sports and Adventure Coordinator is responsible or the development and management of comprehensive recreation programs, including intramural sports, sport clubs, climbing wall, and outdoor adventure programs. The Sports and Adventure Coordinator will oversee competitive sports and adventure programs, including daily operations, risk management, policies, and procedures, facility management, scheduling and event planning, staff management, training and leadership development, marketing and promotions, and program assessment. This position reports to Director of Campus Recreation and Wellness, with dotted line supervision of intramural sports to Assistant Director of Campus Recreation and Wellness.
