Today in the College of Health, Education, and Human Sciences commencement, we celebrated our incredible education majors in Early Childhood, Elementary, Middle Level, and the Master of Education program. 🎓🍎

Congratulations to Daisy Vargas and Fatima Bonilla. Both are currently teaching at Fort Smith Public Schools and still found time to compete a Master of Education, emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction. This week they successfully completed their thesis defense.

It’s official. The last group of Hub 3 students wrapped up their courses today. In the fall, we will transition to just Hubs 1 & 2. Exciting changes ahead for the School of Education.

We are proud to recognize Nicole Franklin as the Spring 2026 UAFS School of Education Alumni Award recipient. Thank you, Nicole, for the thoughtful words of wisdom you shared with our graduating interns and for the incredible example you continue to set for novice teachers. Your impact on future educators is truly inspiring!
