Summer camps are happening at Peak today including construction, art and healthcare!! Middle school students are getting hands on learning experiences in our career pathways this week.

Manufacturing camp ended today with some cool projects to show off!!

This week middle school students are attending Peak's Advanced Manufacturing Summer Camp sponsored by SparkForce, The FMA Foundation and ABB.

The students are designing, learning code language, and using HAAS table mills to make clocks. More pictures to come on Friday with final products.

Computer Integrated Machining students who completed the 2 year program received their Gene Haas Foundation Scholarship tools last week. Thank you to their UAFS WATC instructors for preparing them with the skills necessary to be . The students also certified in several areas of machining.

Peak’s Residential Construction students volunteered at Keller Williams Realty for their bed build today with Sleep in Heavenly Peace. We are proud to see the students getting involved in the community.

On May 4th, Peak held the River Valley Launch to Success event that celebrated students who were hired and recognized the companies who have invested in those students. Students signed commitments for employment and apprenticeships. Students who have received their Associate Degrees while in high school were recognized. This event was in collaboration with UAFS WATC and Fort Smith Regional Chamber of Commerce. During the event, we recognized two Peak students who received scholarships from the Fort Smith Elks Lodge 341. We are so appreciative to these partners who make student success their priority.
