Today, the Maverick Band remembers our dear friend Darrin McKissic. We lost Mr. McKissic one year ago today. His impact on the lives of our students will never be forgotten.

A special thank you to Maverick Band member Riley Brandon for putting together this presentation. Thanks, also, to the students that contributed to this project.

In Loving Memory of Wayne Haver
Today, we remember Wayne Haver, a beloved former principal of Southside High School. Wayne devoted 48 years of service to FSPS, including 36 years as principal of Southside. His leadership, dedication, and care for students, staff, and families left a lasting impact on our district, and the lives he touched will never be forgotten.
